  • On occasion there may be the possibility of a slight alternation in the itinerary due to the sailing conditions on the Nile, domestic air schedule, or religious holidays. In any case all included visits will be rescheduled.
  • Day 1 Depart USA. Meals, drinks and in-flight entertainment provided on Travel Maker USA Flight.
  • Day 2 Arrive in Cairo: Travel Maker USA Flight: you will be met at the airport and transferred to your 5 star hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to explore the amazing contrasts of ancient and modern Cairo.
  • Day 3 Breakfast at the hotel and then you’ll enjoy a full day of sightseeing with your Egyptologist including the great Pyramids of GIZA (CHEOPS, KHEFREN and MYCERINUS), the Sphinx, and the Valley of Temples. After a lunch break, you’ll visit the SAKKARA Stairway to the Sky, the oldest of all pyramids. In the evening perhaps you’ll enjoy the optional Sound and Light Show at the Great Pyramids ($33 ea).   • Day 4 After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight from Cairo to Aswan in Upper Egypt. After arriving in Aswan, you’ll transfer to your elegant Nile River Cruise Ship for check-in and lunch. (Optional$175) You’ll enjoy a guided excursion to the mighty temple of Abu Simbel by plane and once back in Aswan, you’ll board a beautiful felucca boat and sail the blue waters of the Nile River. Your guide will show you the ancient Nilometer on Elephantine Island, Kitchener Island's lush botanical gardens and the magnificent Agha Khan Mausoleum on the left [west] bank of the Nile. Dinner will be on your Nile River Cruise Ship followed by entertainment and dancing. Abu Simbel (B L D)
  • Day 5 After breakfast, you’ll enjoy a full day with your guide visiting the High Dam, the unfinished obelisk and the granite quarries. You’ll see the Isis Temple at Philae's Island and then return to our luxury cruise ship for lunch. Sail to Kom Ombo That afternoon, visit the temple of Kom Ombo built for the Falcon & Crocodile Gods. And, on you’ll sail to Edfu while enjoying dinner. (B L D)
  • Day 6 After breakfast, you’ll travel by horse-drawn carriage to visit Egypt’s best preserved Temple of Horus. That afternoon, relax on the ship as you sail to Luxor via Esna and arrive in Luxor for dinner. (B L D)
  • Day 7 After breakfast, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the west bank of the Nile visiting the Necropolis of Thebes, the Coliseum of Memnon, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Valley of the Queens, and Valley of Kings. Enjoy a free evening or an optional sound and light show at Karnak Temple ($33 ea). (B L D)
  • Day 8 After breakfast, prepare your bags for transfer before enjoying an excursion with your Egyptologist and travel companions to visit the Grand Temple of Luxor which dominates the town, and, the gigantic temple complex at Karnak. Visit the Avenue of Sphinxes which once stretched between the temples of Luxor and Karnak. After transferring to your Luxor hotel, plan to enjoy the remainder of the afternoon at your leisure in the evening join us in horse-drawn carriage for the city tour ($25 ea). (B) Avenue of Sphinxes
  • Day 9 After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the Luxor airport for the flight to Cairo. Arrive in Cairo and transfer to your hotel. After a lunch break, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of The Egyptian Museum, home of King TUTANKHAMUN’s priceless ancient treasures discovered by HOWARD CARTER in 1922. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure to further explore the exotic city of Cairo. (B) King Tut, the Boy King
  • Day 10 After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Old Cairo SALADIN'S 12th Century Citadel, the Alabaster Mosque and the Labyrinthine Bazaar, the Cathedral of the Holy Family, the world’s oldest Synagogue, and St George Cathedral. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. (B)
  • Day 11 After an early breakfast, you’ll transfer to the Cairo airport for your homebound flight from Cairo arriving home the same day. (B L D)
